Galway City is renowned for being the cultural capital of Ireland. This can be seen in its colourful and vibrant shop lined streets, theatres and galleries. In Eyre Square you will see a number of eye catching monuments along with its gardens. If you fancy touring the rest of Galway, you can do so in a scenic drive. Or why not go off shore to the Aran Islands, which are full of historical importance? Then discover the little pubs that make Galway unique in the evening. Wherever you tour you are sure to have a great time in Galway.

Salthill, once a small seaside resort 3 km west of Galway, is now an important suburb of this expanding city. Salthill has grown as a result and, today, it is the premier resort in Ireland, with its wealth of amenities. The giant Leisureland complex, with its host of children's entertainments, including an indoor heated swimming pool, proves very popular, especially when the weather acts the spoilsport, as it will do at times here in the west. The golden half-mile of casinos, pubs and restaurants also play their part by day and discos and musical pubs rule the roost at night.
